This was a short sale that took four months to close. The house was a full blown hoard and jungle that had grown out of control inside and out of the home for two decades. On the up side, this hundred year old home’s foundation and basement floor had been engineered and rebuilt just twenty years earlier with the proper permits and were in exceptional condition. Structurally it was in great shape, if not over built with an excellent drainage system in place. We remodeled the original 1600 square feet of living space, and additionally we added 1600 square feet of conditioned living space in the basement. On the upper levels of the home we remodeled the living room, three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms and the kitchen. The rehab portion of the project took us just seventeen weeks. The entire project from purchase to sale was only six months!
